Nothing much

Mondays Mondays Mondays, nothing more to say, they drag on and on and everyone seems to get on your nerves.
I had a good weekend though, reflecting back on those two days that fly by...had my little cousins over on saturday, non stop fun! (nuff said) and then on Sunday went to visit my cousin and his wife, they just had a baby and made feel all broody..damn.
Anyway I came across two things today (via email) that cheered up my monday and made me chuckle...so here it is.

First was an analysis on the link between men and the suffering women endure because of them lol some are a bit extreme but funny never the less
MENtal illness
MENstrual cramps
MENtal breakdown
MENopause
GUYnecologist
and
When we have REAL trouble, it's a
HISterectomy!!!

The second is a video : lol

Memories, sweet memories!

First of all shout out to Tiffany (fellow blogger & party person!) for putting the link www.pyzam.com in her blog.

After having a peek around there I decided to revamp my page, and I must say it looks brill now!

Now onto business, I was trawling through the internet (again) and I stumbled across a childhood memory favourite thingy lol...anyway it was a snippet on youtube from Sesame Street (OK OK, I actually went looking for it..) The 'Cereal Girl' song, oh my days I was singing along and boogying along with it like it was yesterday! Ahhhh the fond memories of yester year...many a time was I caught faking a tummy ache so that I could stay home and watch Sesame Street lol oh man I wish was 7 again!

Anyway I have added it to my blog for all you Sesame Street fans (even you closet fans, and don't lie!)

Sesame Street is in the building!

Je suis malade!

It feels like I have been sick for 2 weeks straight, I don't even know how it feels to breathe out of my nose anymore! Jeeze bejeeze.

My week has been rather boring, although I did go out last night (so much for sick huh) and play pool with a friend. I am normally very very very good, but I don't know man, yesterday was absolutely abysmal, we played 5 and I only won 1 game...I still don't know how it happened, my only conclusion was that I have not been 100% health...I mean I potted black twice lol, that's just not me!
Yesterday was a good day though, the rest of the week has been terribly boring! I hope I'm better by the weekend though. Although one good thing from being sick is not getting on the beloved London Underground or the London transport bus system, I can't say I've missed it.

It seems that people don't know how to use headphones / earphones anymore, (well mostly silly school kids) the worst thing is to sit on a bus journey home, feeling tired and drained and some crazy kid comes on and starts playing some music on their flashy sony erisson walkman phone (I'm a big fan of the phone myself, love em, only used sony phones for the past 3 years) that the rest of the bus that doesn't want to hear, you can people are uncomfortable but don't particularly want to tell them to switch it the f*ck off in case something pops off lol, lucky for my I have my book and earphones...lol

Why am I complaining when I haven't used a train or bus for a week? Do I miss it? lol I don't even know where my oyster card is...oh well roll on tomorrow, I'll get an ear full of all that tomorrow!

AND IT FEELS LIKE OOOOOOOOOOOOOOH

IT FEELS SO GOOD 4TH NOVEMBER 2008 --mark this day down!

The 1st black president of america!

Man I'm so happy, truth be told I'm not a big fan of america but this is history, and I think its not just an achievement for black americans, but Black people as a whole.

The buzz has been incredible, I actually stayed up all night watching the election unfold, and it has personally given me a new spring in my step.

I can't believe that something like this has happened in my lifetime, when the race first started I thought the odds were against him, I didn't think he stood a chance, but no the inevitable has happened.

This should be (or at least I hope it does) a big morale boost and an incentive for Black people to strive for success in everything we do!

Congratulations President Obama

clogged up

Oh my goodness, when the weather is as moggy as it has been everyone gets sick...but it feels like I have been sick since last month!

So I have been housebound for a about a week now...and in that time I have become HOOKED to the Maury show...that talk show always seems to brighten my day lol

I can't get tired of hearing the words ''you are not the father'' and seeing those crazy people dance around the stage when they hear they are not a dad, and the women run off in either shame, embarrassment or whatever. It's pure comedy.

But on a serious note it's not healthy for people to be sleeping around to such an extent that a female does not know who fathered her child. On the particular episode I was watching there was a young lady that had brought 8 men on the show to test for 1 child...and none proved to be the father... her reason for this? ''I had a busy and wild month'' YOU THINK... I mean how busy can one person get in a month?

As much as these programmes crack me up, I think people watching need to take heed from it and take it as a way not to lives ones life. All the men that come on the show, come on shouting the odds and all kind of insults at these women and in the end its the females bearing the blunt, these men are just as nasty as the women but they don't end up looking bad, the females do.

ARRRRRGGGHH!!!!

My goodness was I fuming yesterday!

Not only did I have to go grocery shopping on a busy and packed Saturday but I also ended up having some car trouble and getting into a situation with the mechanics…

I can’t stand shopping in the market on a Saturday, it’s always packed, even if you go early in the morning or late afternoon it always packed! And with people that can’t walk straight either…but I guess until Tesco’s start selling plantain I still got to pop down to the market once in a while lol.

Then if that wasn’t agro enough for me, the bloody mechanic tried to fob me off, talking rubbish in my ears, had me so vex I almost ran him over when I was leaving the garage…

I'm ok

Stating the obvious...a million p's

I was trawling through the Internet ( as you do) and came across this page ''How to make a million on the Internet'' and of course I stopped to read it. The first paragraph struck a cord me, it said, the first thing is make £1 and repeat that a million times...pretty simple but often over looked...according to them

So now I got a brilliant idea...I got a pound in my pocket now, gonna sell it for £2...lol I'm on my way to to the top!

Day two

Good evening,

Day two on the blogging scene, don't want to over do it but I just might (in the future).

My day was ok, managed to accomplish a few things, which is always a good thing, so can’t complain on that front…

But this time I have a plan, and I this time I WILL and MUST follow it…nothing more dangerous than a girl with a plan...right?

Can someone please tell me why, when you’re on the tube and there are plenty of empty seats in the carriage does someone always come and sit next to you?

Well it happened to me today, only it wasn’t an eye pleasing chocolate hunk, but an old man with a rather unpleasant musty odour…(just my luck)

So there I am sat next to him and he won’t sit still either! The poor thing is rumbling around in his seat and pulls out a newspaper from his bag, then realises he needs his glasses…so he’s fiddling about in his back pocket occasionally nudging me with his elbow, pulls out his spectacles, and starts to clean them. He breathes on his lenses…unaware that his breathing is more like a light spluttering cough, wipes them on his trousers and puts them on, (bless his cotton socks) as soon as he does that he looks up to read the next stop and guess what….that’s his stop!

So off come the glasses, folds the newspaper again and get prepared to get off….as I’m watching him leave I can’t help but wonder who he is going to sit next to on his next train or bus…bless him..

Part 2

Looks like I'm back again, 2 posts on the first day...I do hope this doesn't become a habit! (yea right)

Well Desperate Housewives was BOOM as usual, no complaints there, just a shame its once a week! lol
Feeling a little lazy now, probably due to the pizza I had while watching my show..I gotta stop those late night eating shifts, that's why I always got a bloody headache in the morning, its either that or the stresses of life lol (says the 22 year old single female). But I swear tomorrow I'm going to an extra sit up or two in the morning....

A New Dawn A New Day -- 22/10/08

Well, where does one start?

I'm a 22 year old female from London, trying to get ahead in the world...as time goes on you will get to know more.

I guess I'm a bit late on the blogging scene...but better late than never!

Well I decided to ''jump on the wagon'' as a vent originally, you know got a lot on my mind so they say its best to write, and thanks to technology I can share that...(not so sure that’s a plus...) Anyway that’s the reason why I started.

So right now I'm sat in my couch, watching Hell Date and catching a little bit of jokes, waiting for the big one to come on!

DESPERATE HOUSWIVES!! Yeaaa!

......Anyway, that’s the story so far..
